This CD brings together three commissioned works by Mira Calix. Nunu (RFH mix) was recorded with London Sinfonietta at the Royal Festival Hall; Le Jardin de Barbican was commissioned for and installed at the re-opening of Barbican Art Gallery; Nunu (excerpt) was installed at Hampton Court and taken from a recording made at the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle Genève (all great concrete structures built when life was modern and buildings resonated with the sound of the future). Live crickets are listed as co-performers. It’s printed in three colours with copper staples stitching the booklet.
