The Cake Café

Self-published by Michelle Darmody, The Cake Café Bake Book draws inspiration from some of the great, modern illustrated cook books of the 20th century, and the book ditches “lifestyle” photographs and saccharine nostalgia in favour of a compact publication, full of recipes, detail, personal anecdotes and a design driven by the imprecise geometries of baking to an electro-beat.
